Everyone who sails on Seabourn finds their favorite niches and idyllic space on board.
We compare notes with each other and other guests. For some, it's Seabourn Square, the community 'living room' on board, where morning coffees are crafted by baristas, greetings exchanged between guests, and guests meet with guest services in their open concept lounge. For others, it's one of Seabourn's distinctive restaurants, where fine dining, including a restaurant by America's most decorated Michelin-starred chef Thomas Keller, meets high design. And some guests fall in love with the Observation Lounge, with its wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows, daily afternoon tea and high spirited cocktails pre-dinner (all complimentary).
Or your suite – all ocean views, all suites, with in-suite, course-by-course dinner service on your dining table, deluxe amenities including Moulton Brown toiletries, superb linens, a walk-in closet and a marble bath… an oasis and home away from home as you explore the world at sea.
All Seabourn voyages are exclusive and profoundly special. But on two Seabourn ships, there's an even more exclusive escape.
Guests on the Seabourn Ovation and the Encore will find a space where the breezy sea outdoors comes indoors. The Retreat is a top deck enclave that takes the private cabana concept to new heights, Seabourn style.
VIDEO TOUR ABOVE: THE RETREAT ON THE SEABOURN OVATION
Here you'll find Seabourn service and touches and some you'll find only in the Retreat.
A grand canopy like gigantic flower petals shields you from direct sun and wind. A step up whirlpool is like center stage – where more than two dozen guests can relax or socialize – it's the social and design hub of the retreat, with lounge areas, then over a dozen, secluded private cabanas circling around the perimeter.
With activities, services, food and beverage options you won't find anywhere else on the ship, the Retreat may become your new, favorite place to spend a day at sea while you're sailing on one of these two Seabourn ships.
The Retreat is by reservation only and there is a booking fee which changes for sea or port days. You can book your day in the Retreat at guest services at Seabourn Square.
Get a taste of the Retreat with our tour of the Ovation's Retreat in the video. Then, once you're on board, the Retreat is usually open for guests to visit on embarkation day, serving Bollinger or perhaps another tasty champagne, so you can sip and enjoy and look around and pick the perfect, superbly appointed cabana to while away a breezy Seabourn day.
