12 of the Best All-Inclusive Resorts in North America

Story

Pack your bags! These resorts are the ultimate all-inclusive getaways.

GRAND VELAS

This luxe, all-inclusive resort in Los Cabos, Mexico offers your standard set of packages, including ones centered around honeymoons, golf getaways, spa retreats, and more. The package that really caught our eye, though? Its "Next Big Idea" offering, designed to boost creative thinking and relaxation. The package includes meditation music, relaxing aromatherapy treatments, and a "welcome brain cocktail." (We don't know what that means, but we want to try it!)

TANQUE VERDE RANCH

If you've ever dreamed of playing cowgirl for a day, consider Tucson's Tanque Verde ranch your dream getaway. The desert resort's all-inclusive packages include horseback riding, barbecue cookouts, mountain biking, hiking excursions, and more.

CLAYOQUOT WILDERNESS RETREAT

When you think of going on safari, you probably don't imagine doing it in North America, but that's exactly what the Clayoquot Wilderness Retreat is selling. Located in Tofino, British Columbia, this eco-friendly spot has its guests arrive via floatplane, and leave on a horse-drawn wagon. Accommodations include fancy glamping-style tents, and guests can expect to enjoy all kinds of fun activities that let them get up close and personal with the local wildlife.

SONESTA
St. Maarten's Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa offers everything you'd want in a family-friendly vacation. Little ones will love the new kids' club and aquapark, while parents are sure to love the swim-up pool bar.

MOHONK MOUNTAIN HOUSE

When we say Mohonk Mountain House is the epitome of a mountain resort, we mean it. Secluded in the Hudson Valley (just a few hours outside of New York City), Mohonk offers old-world elegance surrounded by 40,000 acres of protected wildlife (Chip and Joanna Gaines even honeymooned here!). Think of it like summer camp, except with lots of wine and a spa.

ROYALTON

St. Lucia has experienced a surge in popularity as a vacation destination in recent years, and it's easy to see why once you take a look at its lush beaches and rugged mountains. Though the Royalton Resort and Spa offers a plethora of family-friendly activities, there's also an area called the Hideaway, which is adults only.

LITTLE PALM ISLAND

The Florida Keys have long been considered one of the U.S.A.'s best places to get away from it all. Little Palm Island Resort takes the area's charm to the next level, with thatched roof bungalows, romantic turndown service, and its oceanfront Little Torch Key restaurant.

WYNDHAM GRAND RIO MAR

Rio Mar Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, has an all-inclusive package that features five different dinner options, along with unlimited wine and cocktails, a driving range, a casino, and over a mile of beach access.

DUNTON HOT SPRINGS

Colorado's Dunton Hot Springs characterizes itself as an "1800s ghost town with natural hot springs." Intrigued? Us, too. The so-called ghost town has been restored to its former glory, and is now a full-blown high-end resort with with log cabins, saloons, and a dance hall.

THE RANCH AT ROCK CREEK

Thinking about booking a luxurious getaway? Montana might not be the first place that comes to mind ... until you see photos of the Ranch at Rock Creek, that is. Situated on a 19th-century homestead, the picturesque resort will truly make you feel as if you've stepped back in time. (And you haven't even seen the converted barn yet!)

BLACKBERRY FARM

Talk to anyone from the South, and you can almost guarantee that they've heard of Blackberry Farm. The gorgeous Tennessee resort is known for being the ultimate relaxing escape for those who want to unplug for a few days in the great outdoors. On top of its sweeping views of the Great Smoky Mountains, the hot spot is also known for its gourmet culinary offerings.

THE RESOR AT PAWS UP

If you've been wanting to give the whole glamping trend a try, consider booking a stay at Montana's Paws Up. Guests of the dude ranch can stay in luxury tents that include up to two bedrooms, an ensuite bathroom, and air conditioning (!). We're not saying there's anything wrong with camping, but we'd gladly trade in our sleeping bags and pop-up tents for one of these babies!
